Wondering how students could represent the sun as a facet of expressing the elements, and understanding the import of, Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, an image of their gathering together so as to wonder for themselves brought forth a response in the form of a series of human tableaus. Plato’s imaginative narrative, punctuated by drawings, emerges as a constellation of living thought forms arising before his listener’s awareness, so, that coupled with the narrative presented as a series of stage directions, it becomes a vision of the human condition for the audience of the theater.
